As El Questro was closed because of fires we had more time available to head south to visit the Bungle Bungles. It turned out to be a great stop (if you can excuse the road getting in).
After spending time at the Bungles, we turned north heading back through Kununurra to Lake Argyle for a couple of nights. We had a great afternoon / evening cruise on the lake. Ask Judy about drinking a beer while swimming with 35,000 (freshwater) crocodiles.
From Lake Argyle we continued northwest to a Campground called Manbulloo just outside Katherine. From Katherine Craig and Roz headed north to Litchfield while we headed to Berry Springs. We met up again that night.
