During the months of July to September we completed what is commonly known as a “Half Lap” of Australia. In our case we wanted to spend time in the Kimberley region which is located in the far north of Western Australia so in summary, our route saw us head across the Nullarbor, up the Western Australian Coast until we reached Derby, The Gibb River Road, up to Darwin and then back down the middle of Australia via the Stuart Highway and then on home to Melbourne.
