With the exception of the trip to Windjana and Tunnell Creek we had been travelling on Bitumen. This had now changed and we were experiencing the real Gibb River Road heading to Mt Barnett. We stayed at Mt Barnett for 4 nights visiting Manning Gorge and spending time swimming in the river and at Galvan Gorge.
