We left Derby and headed off to commence our trip along the Gibb River Road. The plan was to spend 2 and a bit weeks exploring this region. Although we stopped at lots of places along the “Gibb” we stayed at the Lennard River Rest Stop, Mt Barnett Station, the Gibb River Free Camp and Drysdale, Ellenbrae and Home Valley Stations before finally arriving in Kununurra. Unfortunately we were turned away from El Questro due to a bush fire however this gave us more time to explore Kununurra, the Bungle Bungles and Lake Argyle.
