During the months of July to September 2025 we completed a “Half Lap” of Australia in our 300 Series Landcruiser and Lotus Freelander Caravan. Our aim was to spend time in the Kimberley region located in the far north of Western Australia.
Our route saw us head north to the Murray River before turning northwest to Port Augusta and Ceduna. From Ceduna we travelled across the Nullarbor and on to Bullsbrook (north of Perth) where we met up with Craig and Roz who were joining us for the trip. From Bullsbrook we travelled up the Western Australian Coast to Derby and then followed the Gibb River Road to Kununurra. From Kununurra we headed to the Bungle Bungles before heading north via Lake Argyle and Katherine ending up at Berry Springs. From Berry Springs we travelled home through Australia’s Red Centre via the Stuart Highway.
