In July 2026 we headed off from our home in Safety Beach Victoria with the intent of going as far north as the Daintree region of far North Queensland in the trusty LC300 towing our Lotus Freelander caravan. Along the way we wanted to re visit Longreach in central Queensland before heading east to the coast. Other than another two stops (Paronella Park in Meena Creek and Cairns) we had nothing definitely planned.
