After leaving Broken Hill we were heading for Charlotte Plains Cattle Station (near Cunnamulla) that also has Hot Artesian Ponds and Camping. We did the trip to Charlotte Plains over two days staying the first night at a Free Camp in Cobar before staying a couple of nights at the Station enjoying the Hot Ponds and exploring a bit of the Station.

Cobar
Travelling to Cobar and then on to Charlotte Plains was largely uneventful although we did travel through Bourke and Wilcannia, two of what I used to consider as iconic towns of Outback NSW but unfortunately I am no longer sure you would want to camp at either of them. However if you ever want to see wild goats, this is the place. We literally saw thousands of them over this two days.
