After spending 5 nights in Airlie Beach we again headed north, this time to Mission Beach. Next time we are up this way we will have to spend time exploring the areas we did not get to see however the Mission Beach area was well worth the visit.
Getting there
We spent a day travelling from Airlie Beach to Mission Beach. Along the way we either went through or bypassed Home Hill, Gumlu, Townsville and Ingham. Ideally we would spend time in all of these locations.

Mission Beach
We really liked the Mission Beach area. We actually stayed at Wongaling Beach and enjoyed it. The beach was a short distance away and virtually deserted. Staying a couple of nights allowed us to explore the area. We could go back again.
